History of the Volvo car manufacturer

Volvo is a Swedish car manufacturer founded in 1927 of famous tech tycoon Gustav Larson and his friend, engineer Assar Gabrielsson, who met while studying. They noticed that there were quite a lot of cars in Sweden, but there weren't many places to repair them. Gabrielsson and Larson decided to start their own business and founded Volvo AB (Volvo means "I create" in Latin) to manufacture and repair cars.
